A History Lover & an Artist
I am Quinn Edwards, a 17-year-old student, aspiring historian, and visual artist. Currently in my senior year of high school, I plan to major in history with a focus on museums and archives.
Growing up in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, I’ve spent my life surrounded by and inspired by the stories of the American Revolution. One of the most meaningful parts of my life so far has been working as a historic role-player at Strawbery Banke Museum. In costume and character, I get to bring real people from the past to life—interpreting their stories, daily lives, and struggles for visitors of all ages. It's taught me how powerful public history can be when it’s interactive and immersive. Working with the collections managers and curators there has also deepened my appreciation for the work museum professionals do behind the scenes to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and respect for the narratives they present.
I’m also a visual artist. Painting, drawing, and fiber arts have always been my ways of making sense of the world around me. From a very young age, crayons and paper were my comfort. Today, you’ll never find me without either a sketchbook and pen, or a knitting or needlework project in my hands.
I hope this website gives you a better glimpse into who I am beyond what you see on paper.
